主要从事与超大规模并行计算相关的模型、算法、App和应用研究,研究领域涉及计算数学、计算机科学与应用领域的交叉。围绕这一研究方向,在计算流体力学(Computational Fluid DynamicsCFD)、全球大气模式(Global Atmospheric Model)和油藏模拟(Reservoir Simulation)等应用领域选择有代表性意义的典型问题开展科学计算研究。2020年湖南省自然科学基金人才项目获得者,2019年以第一完成人获得湖南省自然科学二等奖,以第一编辑或通讯编辑在SISCJCP等数学顶级SCI期刑发表论文20多篇;主持国家自然科学基金面上项目两项、数学天元项目和青年项目各一项;主持湖南省科技厅重点项目和一般项目各一项、主持湖南省自然科学基金一项。
